LakeWood Clydesdales is a
breeder of registered bay horses, featuring some of the best
bloodlines in the breed’s recent history.
The farm is owned by William and Donna Hall, located
on the western side of Fort Gibson Lake in northeast
Oklahoma near the town of Wagoner.
The plan for LakeWood is to
produce only a few foals each year with an emphasis on a
well-balanced appearance, good disposition and trainability
for draft work or the show ring.
We have an
All-American-qualified stallion, Cedarlane Skipper (a son of
SBH Phoenix) currently servicing our mares.
Please take time to browse the pictures of our mares,
stallions and foals.
You’ll like what you see.
(Web designer’s note-the pictures are pending
William’s getting off his butt to bathe, trim and photograph
the herd-keep checking back on the web site.)
All of our horses are enrolled
in the PreventiCare program through Pfizer Pharmaceuticals
and our veterinarian Dr. DeRoy White of Sapulpa Vaterinary
Hospital, a well-known and respected equine practitioner.
You can be assured that a horse purchased from our
farm is healthy and ready to join you as an active member of
your Clydesdale family.
We strongly encourage that all new owners continue to
maintain their horse on the PreventiCare plan to assure a
long and happy life for each animal (and owner!!)
We enjoy showing off our “babies” to visitors. When he has a day off from the clinic, William usually can be found out by one of the barns, either adding on or upgrading the facilities. He complains that he never has enough time to get all the “work” done, but that welding rig of his seems to be his favorite toy rather than a tool. William likes nothing better than to talk horses (or welding or anything else requiring a new tool) so give him a “holler” if you’d like to drop by. Donna rarely slows down enough to be visible but also can be found around the place. Your best bet to contact us in by phone, leaving a message on the machine, at 918-462-7281.
